I guess I'm just not sure how they're supposed to stand up to Rhian etc when she's HOH! I think it'd be a different story if they won HOH and missed an opportunity, but they kind of all have to play to survive the week.

Er, not necessarily. All that has to really happen is for Sam to not use the Veto/Veto James and evict Talla, since Rhian wants James gone and Talla to stay, so they'd be going against what she wants. *shrug*
