I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that the house division was still in effect. My house, House #1, is definitely the stronger of the two so I was happy about remaining in the split. However, when I saw what the challenge was, my confidence quickly shifted into nervousness. I have never been too amazing at posting challenges. When I went back and looked at the past seasons that had different variations of this challenge, I realized that some of the people in my house weren't really great at them either. This definitely sent me in a spin of worry because I really didn't want to face not being immune; scary, much?

When the results came out, we completely slayed the other house. It was pretty crazy, to be honest. Even if Shane did the challenge, they still would've lost because it appeared to be impossible to get less than 9 minutes for this one. Our house ended up being immune, and had we not, Estelle would've won, which would've been great. This marks the second week in a row where the alliance between myself, GM, Estelle, and Andrew would've been in power. Since the other house wasn't immune that meant that we got another random Head of Household winner in .. drumroll, please .. Helen! I was really shocked.

I spoke to Helen a little bit, which was the first time in about a week. I definitely don't feel super close to Helen. I feel like, for the time being, she and I are okay. Helen's been warming up to GinaMarie more, which is great, because that way it has Helen close to us regardless. I am happy for Helen though. She didn't win a Head of Household during our season, so she definitely did deserve it now. Better late than never! With her being in power, it did leave me in wonder about what she'd do with her reign. I told GM that I really felt like Helen would do Shane and Joe, but that we should definitely try and push to get Ed up.

So, apparently, Helen was originally going to Joe and Shane, just like I expected she would have done. Those are easy nominations. Joe hardly talks to anyone and Shane didn't do the challenge; both are plausible and logical reasons. However, GinaMarie decided to take it upon herself to push for an Ed nomination. You g0 girl. I loved that she did this. The reason GinaMarie did this is because of Helen and GinaMarie's blossoming~ relationship. GinaMarie's input matters to her, so she was the perfect one to do it. Luckily, it seemed to pay off, because Ed became Helen's target for the week which is phenomenal.

The dumb thing about Helen's second nomination, is that she told Shane she was going to put him up, so he knew he was being targeted. Shane offlined me and was like, "Ugh, I'm going up!" However, like 30 minutes later, Helen is then saying she's putting Joe up instead, despite telling Shane he was the one going up. Helen, girl, you never being Head of Household before is clearly showing. So now with Helen's initial nominations being up in Joe and Ed, Shane knows he's going to be the potential replacement. How does Shane go about this? He starts going around trying to forge alliances. What a shady, shady bastard.

When it was time to pick players for the Power of Veto, I honestly couldn't stop shaking my head. Joe is a fucking moronic 'tard. He draws Houseguest's Choice and picks .. Sam? Seriously? I mean, are you .. kidding me .. right now? I want Ed to leave this week. People want Ed to leave this week. Joe goes and picks Sam to play because he "wanted to keep his word to Sam" because Sam asked to play. What an idiot. Ugh. Why would you pick your fellow nominees potentially, closest ally? It's just ridiculous. If Sam wins, he could very well use it on Ed and then we have a little bit of a problem. Joe needs to be slapped.

Ed wins the Power of Veto. Lul. I'm honestly not surprised though. Truthfully. After playing with Ed last season and in other games, I know that he only ever steps it up when he's in danger of going home or at the end of the game when he wants to cleansweep to get to the end. His social game is abysmal, so he has to count on the competitions in order to stick around. It's frustrating, but everyone plays this game differently. Kudos to him for pulling out the victory, but it doesn't mean I need to respect his method. Because, frankly, I don't. Ed will be the type of player that needs to be backdoored. It needs to be done.

With Ed obviously going to remove himself from the block, Helen will, without a doubt, stick Shane up on the block in his place. Last night, Shane was already in full swing trying to solidify relationships and racking up allies when the voting time would come. He did this with me earlier in the game, but one or two people mentioned him coming to them last night and proposing a deal. I'm not surprised, but the fact that I heard about i kind of rocks my want in even keeping Shane around. Him going is definitely an option for me now, however, with Joe's socially inactive stigma, he might get a pass and Joe be the easy boot.

In more interesting news, Andrew came to me last night and also wanted to solidify a deal between the two of us. While we have Andrew's Angels with Estelle and GinaMarie, Andrew thought it to be in our best interest to be the F2 within that alliance. Why? Because neither of us would want to goto the end with a previous winner. This is great. It makes sense. But, the thing about Andrew and I, is that we're known to play people, we're known to double-deal and be sneaky. I don't completely trust him and I'd think he'd feel the same. So the question that comes from this is, which player will play the other player first? It's a fun dynamic. I'm content with Andrew at the moment and I feel he is with me, but in no way will I be with him long term. I agreed, though. Obvi.

Shane is the replacement, which is no surprise to me. I knew that Shane was going to be the replacement, seeing as Helen had previously told him he was more than likely to be an initial nominee. However, in an interesting turn of events, Helen was actually considering sticking Sam up on the block in Ed's place. That would've been pretty hilarious, honestly. I had first heard about it from Estelle when she and I were talking about Helen's nominations and how upset we were with Ed winning the Veto. Estelle showed me some of her conversation with Helen, and Estelle was really pushing for Sam to be the replacement, which is pretty luls. I'm glad Sam has some heat from others.

GinaMarie is livid because she knows that it's pretty much a lost cause for Joe at this point. Almost everyone I've spoken to has said that they're evicting Joe from the house for many reasons. The three main reasons being that he's hardly social with many people, he's great at competitions, and people prefer Shane over Joe. Honestly, whatever way the vote was going to go would've been fine by me. I don't have a super preference when it comes to either of them. Joe and I have hardly spoken since the first week, and Shane to me is shady as hell. Tell me why Shane approached me last night and said, "Oh, btw, I asked GM for an alliance, so now we're all three together! Okay!?" Er.

There's alot of speculation as to whether or not the houses will stay intact or be demolished. I am kind of rooting for a double eviction, with both houses having a Head of Household winner, a Power of Veto winner, and one evictee. This would speed up the game and get us closer to the Jury portion of the game. the downside to that, is that I have to make sure that David, James, and Dominic wouldn't win Head of Household because those are the three I'd feel the least comfortable with winning. I guess we'll see what happens in the next round, but i hope it's not too crazy. I've just come down with a bad, bad cold again and I've been sleeping constantly and trying to get better. Just ugh.
