This week was just really blah. I knew we were about to head into some awful twist. The round dragged out really long and it kind of killed my morale. I don't know why, just the whole waiting around and not knowing what was happening for a day or so was insufferable. I like that the twist had the challenge winner picking a Britney Spears album though; I wouldn't have it any other way! However, I didn't really like the titles of the supposed game formats that could be unleashed upon the house. I think everyone kind of figured that International would revolve around the UK/AUS format with the house casting two nominations and whatnot, as for the other two, nobody was sure.
I kind of expected Glen Coco to win this competition because I know she loves these kinds of challenges, flash games and the like. I personally suck at flash games, so I wasn't thrilled when I saw what I was going to be doing. When I got into the challenge, I was overwhelmed with all the threads and my laptop kept lagging and making a heavy fan sound when it would try and load things. I think that's probably a sign that my computer is a piece of crap and I need to buy a new one. Lovely. I wasn't confident in my score when I finished, but it's whatever. I felt like I'd be safe with a majority of people had I not won, so it didn't feel like a terrible loss to me. For the first time this season, Frank won.
I wasn't shocked when Frank played the safest card by throwing Helen into the Arena. The Arena is the format that was unleashed on the house this week. It's some sort of Hunger Games-esque theme that delivers pure Katniss Everdeen realness. Two women were thrown into the arena, Helen being Frank's choice and Talla being the house's choice. Dominic and Talla received the most votes which isn't surprising. People had talked about what they'd do if it was International, and Dixie and her little clan of Sam and Kristen were doing Dominic, so I knew they were 3 votes for him, and obviously Talla. Overall, it didn't matter anyways though, because Talla was going to win the competition.
