So my allies win HoH and PoV this week, which is awesome. And then we have probably the 2 people I feel least safe with up as nominees. Now, Ryan is campaining hardcore for me/Rhian to keep him (along with Talla voting to keep him, apparently), but Dixie wants Ryan gone. I see both sides of the argument. However, if I side to keep Ryan, I risk making an enemy out of Dixie, and if she's truly playing for vengeance, I don't wanna fuck up a potential final 4 deal with a final 2 as part of that plan.
I know I could quite possibly be the stupidest person here if the promised final 2 of Estelle and myself gets betrayed by Dixie/Rhian, but the more I think about it, the less options I feel like I have. I really don't trust Ryan/Kristen/and even Talla at this point to hold any deal that they make. Each of them knows that they are on thin ice, and will do/say anything to save themselves. I just feel like forcing a move and having to rely on any of them is a huge gamble... maybe even bigger than gambling with the idea that Dixie is playing the best game of all and actually playing to win (despite saying from day 1 that she's not been playing to win).
My strategy in this series has been based off making moves that increase my chance of safety in future rounds, and so far, it's worked. I don't see how I could go against that here, so it seems like Ryan is the vote to evict. And as I've been reiterating, I have that PoV advantage in my pocket if worst comes to worst. Plus, I really do feel like if I'm going to get betrayed, it would have happened already. And as well, I am putting a lot of faith in Estelle, hoping that she's not been playing me. That will be the hardest to take if I've been strung along for 4th place in this group of Estelle/Dixie/Rhian/myself.
